Gout is the most common form of inflammatory arthritis worldwide and can be linked to other serious health conditions. If you think you have gout, it is important you seek help from a medical professional as soon as possible. You can also download one of our information sheets.

About us

The UK Gout Society is a registered charity and was established in 2002 to provide basic information to people living with gout, their families, friends and carers – and increase public awareness about this painful, potentially disabling, but very treatable, disorder.

Our trustee board comprises experienced rheumatologists and health professionals working in the field of gout.

The UK Gout Society is a member of ARMA (Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance) – the umbrella body providing a collective voice for the arthritis and musculoskeletal community in the UK. http://arma.uk.net/
