| Do you have gout? Would you be willing to take part in a research project by sharing your experiences? Researchers at Keele University are conducting a study to find out more about people's experiences of living with gout. The aim of the study is to provide a section about gout on www.healthtalkonline.org - an award-winning website that contains interviews with people talking about their experiences of over 60 health-related conditions and illnesses. The website will provide information for people with gout as well as their families and friends, and for health professionals involved in the care of people with gout. Getting involved If you have gout and would be willing to take part in a research project by sharing your experiences, we would be delighted to hear from you. We have already recruited quite a large number of men aged over 45, so we are particularly interested in hearing from women of any age, or anyone under the age of 40. If you would like more information, or you are interested in taking part in this study, please see click here, or contact Jenny Liddle (Email: j.liddle@keele.ac.uk Tel: 01782 734596). *Medical trustees of the UK Gout Society may be involved in studies displayed on this website |
